Despite some very late withdrawals, Lindfield managed to find outside replacements, without resorting to extra home club teams.
The weather was reasonable throughout the week but Finals Day saw nothing but continuous rain. Nevertheless, the tournament was thoroughly enjoyed by all concerned.
Partly due to inclement weather and other committments, there was not the usual support from Lindfield Club members and this was to be regretted.
However, the support from members, for all the jobs involved, was overwhelming and we owe them great thanks, especially for contributing to a healthy profit.
Our generous sponsors were Apex Windows, Lindfield Honda and Masters Funeral Directors of whom the latter two attended the Finals.
The winning St Francis team, skipped by Colin Morphew, is pictured on the right, along with our sponsors from Masters & Co.
